Peabody Wealth Advisors Employee Spotlight- Lisa Pike

This month we chatted with Client Relationship Manager, Lisa Pike. She has been working for Peabody Wealth Advisors since  January 2018... Let's find out a bit more about Lisa!

 What led you to this career?  

As a student, I participated in a high school banking program which provided me with the fundamentals and mechanics of working with the public and with evolving technology. I have worked within the banking and financial industry for over 20 years.  

What do you love most about your job? 

I love helping our PWA (Peabody Wealth Advisors) clients, family, and friends and being a part of the Peabody Wealth Advisors team. Each day I aim to provide solutions to any administrative issues clients may have. I strive to make each conversation memorable and try to put people’s minds at ease when they call with these administrative questions about their accounts.

 What do you like to do in your spare time?

When I am not at work, you can find me going on random hikes or walking on the beach searching for sand dollars. I also love fishing, kayaking, and spending time at our camp in New Hampshire with my family and friends.  

What is on your bucket list? 

Tops on my list is a lighthouse and harbor tours of the United States with my mom.  

What is the best advice that you have ever been given?

Many years ago, my dad advised me to stay up to date with all technology as it will evolve  to "something big one day.”  

What is something about you that people may be surprised about?

That I have been able to captain my own boat since I was 10. My dad was a Navy Seal and taught me how to navigate the ocean and run our boats through all sorts of conditions. In addition to teaching me the skills of boating, it has taught me that no matter how turbulent life can be there are always solutions to help me weather whatever life throws my way.   

What is your favorite sports team?

Both the Bruins and the Red Sox! Taking the train from the North Shore to attend opening games for the Red Sox and Bruins vs Montreal hockey games is a fond memory for me.  

Do you have any hidden talents?

Golfing and gardening! I am a scratch golfer who was taught by a retired and respected woman. As far as gardening, my nana introduced me to it as a young child. To this day, I have a healthy green thumb and tend to a beautiful garden that brings me dragonflies and hummingbirds to enjoy.
